Dear HES Parent, Family Member or Friend,
We Invite you to our first RUN-A-THON fundraiser, November 17th!! While the purpose of this event is to raise money, a Run-A-Thon promotes physical fitness, builds school spirit while creating a fun and memorable way for our students to participate in supporting their education. The bonus to this event will be raising funds for our ASB account. Our ASB funds contribute to outdoor school, field trips, Red Ribbon Week, basketball reading, Dr. Seuss day, Fun Day activities/prizes, Field Day and a multitude of educational activities. We have a very attainable goal that will be easily met if each student brings in a total of $50 in pledges.
Collecting donations is easier than you think, the key is to ask and of course your parental support! Here is our donation request that can easily be sent with our QR code;
“Please consider sponsoring (STUDENT) by making a donation to our ASB account using the Run-A-Thon’s QR code. We are asking for donations to support our ASB account, which in turn supports the students and staff at HES. Pledges will be a flat donation determined by the individual pledging. Those wishing to donate via check can make it payable to “HES’s ASB RUN-A-THON” and drop it off at the office or mail to P.O. Box 367, Heppner, OR 97836.”

All students will participate the day of the event whether they have collected pledges or not. Students will run with their class for about 20 minutes during the school day and receive a T-shirt paid for by our sponsors! The generosity of those sponsors allowed your pledge to be 100% profit!!
